Battlefield tours used to be a common theme for many – especially as the run up to the Centenary of the 1st World War approached. This has fallen off recently, and the 3Rs will offer planned small-scale tours for adult groups of up to 15. Ypres is one of the most evocative sites on the War – where over one million men from the British and Commonwealth armies served between 1914 and 1918. History is everywhere here – from the beauty of Tyne Cot and Ulster tower, to the brutality of Hill 62 and Messines all the way to the poignancy of the Menin Gate ceremony every evening. The 3Rs have many years of leading tours around this area; and the tour can be tailored to your own requirements.
